Japan has been on edge since Donald Trump signed an agreement with the country’s biggest hotel operator to build a luxury hotel and casino.
But that doesn’t mean there hasn’t been a flurry of news about the deal that was recently finalized.
Here are some of the things we know so far:The Japanese government has approved the hotel and is hoping for a March 1 opening date for the new hotel.
Trump has been visiting the country to promote his hotel and other projects, and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said Trump will be a “strong supporter” of the project.
Abe is expected to announce the opening date of the Trump Hotel in Japan on April 12.
The Trump Hotel will have a state-of-the-art casino and will offer a large variety of services.
The new Trump Hotel and Resort will feature a state of the art casino, two large restaurants and an expansive outdoor swimming pool, among other amenities, according to a release from the Japanese government.
It will also have three other golf courses and an amphitheater.
Japanese officials hope the hotel will be open in time for Trump’s visit to Japan in the first half of 2020.
Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe is expected on April 10 to announce a state visit to the United States.
Trump is expected in Japan later this month, along with Japanese Prime Minster Shinzo Abe, to sign the $400 million agreement.
