Yuki is back at Tokyo Disneyland Park this week, with the sushi show re-opening this week after it was closed for repairs earlier this year.
The show is open for business for those who missed it earlier this month due to its repairs.
Yuki has been closed since May, and has been in a state of partial closure since November.
The reopening of the show has been delayed several times due to weather, and the Tokyo Disney Parks Department is now taking steps to help mitigate the impact on the show’s guests.
Yuka, or Yuki Tsukasa, is an international sushi chef whose main focus is on cooking with Japanese ingredients.
His restaurants have earned him praise from some of Japan’s most prestigious chefs, including Nobuhiro Yamashita and Nobuaki Ueda.
“I am very pleased to be able to bring Yuki to Tokyo Disneyland, and hope that you will be able enjoy the wonderful atmosphere and the incredible variety of delicious sushi as always,” said Yoshiyuki Nishikura, the president of the Tokyo Disneyland Resort.
“The new Yuki restaurant is an excellent addition to the Tokyo theme park and will be a great addition to our growing Yuki brand.”
Nishikura is the first person in Japan to own Yuki.
He is the son of Japanese sushi chef Yuki Tsubasa, and he is a close associate of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe, who is now the leader of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party.
“Yuki Tsukasse is one of the best sushi chefs in the world,” Abe said in a statement.
“I am sure he will deliver a very unique experience to you at Disneyland.”
The Yuki franchise is one part of a growing number of Japanese restaurants in the United States.
In recent years, the restaurant industry has begun to expand overseas, particularly in Japan.
In addition to Tokyo, the Yuki and Tsukasa restaurants have opened in New York, Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago, Philadelphia, Toronto, and Orlando.
