Sushi rice in this recipe, with an easy step-by-step guide

I’m a huge fan of sushi rice, but this recipe for sushi rice looks very easy to make.

It requires only two ingredients: a roll of sushi paper and some sushi rice.

This recipe will be a quick and easy way to get your hands on sushi rice that will help you make delicious sushi at home, even if you don’t have a kitchen handy.


Wash and peel your sushi rice rolls.

You can buy a roll for about $2.49 on Amazon, or you can find the ones at your local sushi restaurant.

If you have a grocery store near you, it may be worth buying the roll as well.

I recommend buying the rolls first so you can easily peel them when they’re not in great shape.


Cut your rolls into 4 to 6 inch strips.

For this recipe I used sushi paper, which is the standard type of sushi roll.

A roll of a different thickness might work, but you can always try different types of paper.


Put the sushi rice in a bowl and add a couple tablespoons of water.

Don’t forget to rinse the sushi paper before adding the water.


Roll your rolls out into 4 strips about 1/4 inch thick.

Put a bit of paper towel over each piece so the rice isn’t touching the paper.


Add a little more water if the rice is too soft.

You want your rice to soak up as much water as possible before you add the next piece.


Put your rolls in a shallow dish or a plate, and sprinkle some of the sushi oil on top.


You’re ready to cook!

You’ll want to cook the rice on a hot stove for about 10 minutes per roll.

It will soften up a bit and taste really delicious.

When the rice reaches a good softness, you can add more water.


Serve your rice with a generous dollop of fresh seaweed or sushi oil.

If your rice is hard to cut, cut it into 4 or 5 pieces, and serve with fresh seaweeds or a little extra seaweed.


Make your own seaweed salad.

This sushi rice salad will be perfect for a quick lunch or dinner, or as a side dish for any kind of sushi.

Just a few ingredients: 1 can of soy sauce 1 cup of chopped cucumber 1 small red onion, diced 1/2 medium yellow onion, chopped 1 cup raw cashews, soaked in water for about 30 minutes (or longer if you’re making this in advance) 2 tablespoons rice vinegar 1 tablespoon rice vinegar (to taste) 1 teaspoon ground black pepper (to add a touch of heat) Instructions 1.

Make the sushi roll and cut your rolls as if they were sushi rice (no need to remove the paper before cutting).


In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, cucumber, and onion, then mix together.

3 to 4 minutes.

4, 5, 6.

Add the rice vinegar, rice vinegar and salt.

Mix again.

7 to 8 minutes.

9, 10.

Add some fresh seawide oil, and mix until everything is evenly coated.

Add more salt if necessary.


Add fresh seawater, mix it up a little, and add the rice.

The sushi rice will be ready to serve.

It should look like this.


Add your seaweed, and roll your sushi rolls up into a ball.


If the sushi rolls aren’t perfectly cooked, sprinkle some fresh salt on top to help make sure everything is ready for the sushi.


Serve with fresh fresh seawood or a dollop or two of rice vinegar. 15. Enjoy!
